Abstract

The European Accessibility Act requires accessible ebooks as of June 28, 2025, and the Americans with Disabilities Act requires digital content used by Title II educational institutions to be accessible, with a strong emphasis on course content, as of April 2027 and 2028. It is therefore increasingly important for librarians and others who select digital collections that may be used as course material to understand the current landscape of full-text accessibility
